Tested for viruses and trueness-to-type
Vermeerderingstuinen Nederland focuses on fruit crops, fruit tree rootstocks, avenue- and shade trees and woody ornamentals. Our main concerns are trueness-to-type, the absence of diseases that may spread with propagation material, especially virus and virus like diseases, and traceability.

Our assortment consists of both protected and free varieties. The former are available for licensees only, the latter are available for every customer.

Bud wood, graft wood, cuttings, fruit tree rootstocks and seeds
During the summer season we sell certified(*) bud wood, in wintertime we sell certified(*) graft wood and cuttings. Basic rootstocks are sold as rooted plants or cuttings. This material is certified as 'Basic III', specifically for the establishment of stoolbeds in the category 'certified'. Seeds of Prunus avium are available for the production of certified seedling rootstocks.

(*) Untill the year 2017 the official qualification 'certified virusfree’ was in use. Under recent EU-legislation the official qualifications 'virusfree' and 'VF' are not allowed any longer. Growers on the other hand still use the qualification 'virusfree' in their communication.
